Focus: To promote, foster, cultivate, perpetuate and preserve the Arts & Letters of African Americans in Fine, Literary, and Performing Arts.

The Arts & Letters Commission will be supporting our very own, Soror Nicole Mattox, at the Sacramento Black Film Festival on Thursday, April 22nd as she debuts her short film, "Ms. Understand". Please see details below or visit http://www.ncwfonline.org/april222010.html. Please contact Soror Tamara Rasberry at Tamararasberry@yahoo.com for tickets.

On the 97th Anniversary of the founding of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., sorors attended Tyler Perry's play,"Madea's Big Happy Family". If you were not in attendance, you missed a treat! The Arts and Letters Commission encourages everyone to see this play if you can. Madea made sorors laugh, cry and left us inspired to continue making a difference on the most important date of the sorority.

MOTOWN JUKIN' 50 years of Soul
Arts and Letters Commission encouraged Sorors to attend as we supported our very own Soror Shani Alford in this dance extravaganza! This was a must see with every show sold out! The dance company is considering bringing it back for one show only during black history month so stay tuned! Please click HERE if you would like to view the flyer from the event.

All across the U.S., members of the sorority were asked to support this new movie. Here in Sacramento, 20 Sorors attended the premier at the Century theater. Read more about Project ART.
