Delta Sigma Theta is a community service oriented organization. The Community Service Committee is responsible for researching
and presenting worthwhile community service activities in which the chapter can participate.

11TH ANNUAL HISTORICALLY BLACK COLLEGE RECRUITMENT FAIR

BOOK DRIVE

Thanks to everyone that brought in books to donate to Parkway Elementary School. The chapter was able to collect 140 books. The Vice-Principal called to say how appreciative she was for the donation and how they will be able to give each K-3 classroom several books.
FOOD BANK




The chapter volunteered at the Sacramento Food Bank Mobile Food Assistance program on Saturday, May 22, 2010 from 8am to 11:30am. The Mobile Assistance Program distributes fresh produce, meat, diary and other healthy staples to underserved communities. Throughout the day volunteers helped with serving food and assisting participants as needed.
